Photography Services Contract

A Photography Services Agreement is a document through which one party, known as the client, hires a photographer to take photos at a photography shoot. These types of agreements are often quite simple and only really need the information about the parties, as well as the details of the photography services.

The type of photography contracted for can be anything from wedding shoots to commercial photography - this document will apply to each different type of photography session. The parties will need to know all of the details of the photography session or sessions before putting together a written agreement.

Applicable law

Although there is not one set of laws or regulations outlining what must be contained in a Photography Services Agreement, these documents will generally be governed by state law. This agreement contains a Governing Law provision which makes the law of the contract the state where the photography services will be done or where the photographer lives.
