A Coworking Space Agreement is an agreement used to lay down the terms and conditions of how the provider of a coworking space will allow others called clients to use the said coworking space including other related services. Coworking spaces are physical offices that are open to their clients and can be used as workstations or for other business purposes allowed by the provider.
With the advent of remote work during the pandemic and the rise of self-employed individuals, the communal workplace industry in the form of coworking spaces has developed giving an option for different professionals from various industries in the Philippines to have a place where they can experience the traditional office workplace while having a sense of autonomy with the relatively modern business concept of coworking spaces.
This agreement allows the client to use and enjoy the coworking space whether by using the communal shared workplace, a private room, or a cubicle. This includes the other related services that can improve the working atmosphere of the said place such as the use of office equipment, the use of a virtual office address, and the option to allow the provider to accept mail, packages, and calls on behalf of the client.
This agreement is different from lease agreements whether residential or commercial, as this agreement is meant for the provision of services to allow the client to use the physical communal workplace, its amenities, and other related services offered by the coworking space provider in exchange for membership fees.
The following information should be provided if applicable to complete the document:

Consulting agreements are governed by the Civil Code of the Philippines. The 2004 Rules on Notarial Practice is also applicable if the document will be acknowledged before a notary public.
