An Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy is a document that asserts a company's commitment to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. It ensures that all its officers and employees have a safe working environment that is free from all manner of harassment and intimidation.

An Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy informs a company's officers and employees that the company is against any form of sexual harassment and any related retaliation. In fact, it encourages that any such behavior be reported for proper investigation. It also lays down any disciplinary penalties that may be imposed on any offender.

This document can be used by any employer as an Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy in the workplace.

In addition to an Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy, an employer may also provide written materials, training, seminars, and other activities to spread information and educate its officers and employers regarding sexual harassment.

Applicable law

The Safe Spaces Act (Republic Act No. 11313) and the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995 (Republic Act No. 7877) are the two laws that primarily govern sexual harassment in the workplace.

The Safe Spaces Act requires that employers prevent, deter, and punish acts of gender-based sexual harassment. They are also required to have an anti-sexual harassment policy in place which expressly prohibits gender-based sexual harassment and any related retaliation. The policy should describe the procedures of the internal mechanisms for dealing with sexual harassment and the administrative penalties for sexual harassment. It must also provide for the creation of a Committee on Decorum and Investigation.

The Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Safe Spaces Act provides more specific rules on how the Safe Spaces Act can be implemented.
