This Offer Letter for Ambassador ('the Letter') is basic for use when a business offers an Ambassadorship opportunity to a successful candidate. Usually, this Letter would be sent after the successful completion of the interview process to the potential new Ambassador to clarify the terms of the offer of Ambassadorship and prevent any disputes related to the stipend, position title, benefits, hours of work, and other additional details.

An Ambassador is a student representative of a company or organization who promotes the company or organization on their college or university campus. Ambassadors typically work to increase brand/product awareness of the company or organization among their peers, as well as recruit new members or customers.

This Letter is suitable for any type of business or entity including sole traders, partnerships, NGOs or companies in the goods or service industry.

This Letter is not suitable for recruiting employees or interns. If the parties are looking to establish employment relations between each other (i.e. the legal relationship of employee and employer (on a full-time or part-time basis) protected under the law including labour laws, employment laws, and contract laws), the Offer Letter for Employment should be used instead. If the parties are looking to establish internship relations between each other (i.e. which means a program conducted by a company/organization to provide students, recent graduates, or people looking to change careers with practical experience in a particular field or industry), the Offer Letter for Internship should be used instead.

If required a detailed Campus Ambassador Agreement can be signed after sharing this Letter.

How to use this document?

This Letter can be used by an Organization that has decided to hire a new Campus Ambassador. The Letter contains all the important specifics the Organization will need to include in a final Campus Ambassador Agreement, including the position title, duties, stipend, and hours of work.

The Employer can use this Letter in one of two manners:

1. as a record of the proposed terms of the contract of an Ambassadorship between the parties which the Organization then intends to follow up with a formal Campus Ambassador Agreement (i.e. the Letter of Offer is "subject to contract"); or

2. the Letter itself may be used as a contract of Ambassadorship, which will become binding on the parties once signed by the Ambassador.

Once the Letter has been filled out and printed, the same can be signed by the authorized representative of the Organization and then signed by the Ambassador in person or sent to the Ambassador by registered mail or email whereafter the Ambassador can sign and send it back.

Applicable Law

The Ambassadorship may be subject to the terms of the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
