Re: Return of Security Deposit
Dear ________,
I hope this letter finds you well.
I am writing to request the return of the security deposit paid in respect of my tenancy in your property at the following address:
________
You will recall, I occupied this property from ________ to ________. At the beginning of my stay I furnished security deposit amounting to ________ (________) Euro, to insure against damage, non-payment of rent and early termination of rental agreement.
As you are aware, I paid the agreed rent for every month of my occupancy on or before the date on which it fell due.
There is no outstanding money owed in respect of utility charges. As far as I am aware, all financial obligations in respect of heating, electricity and gas, have been met.
During my tenancy I made every reasonable effort to take care of the property and avoid all damage. I am confident that the property was left in good condition upon my departure, with the exception of ordinary 'wear and tear' and the following:
________
Having decided to withdraw from the tenancy, I provided the landlord with the required notice of ________ (________) weeks.
Having completed the full duration of my agreed tenancy, I am requesting partial reimbursement of the ________ (________) Euro deposit. I believe ________ (________) Euro would be a fair and equitable sum in light of the circumstances.
Having departed from the property on ________, the return of my security deposit is now I hope you will take steps to remedy this situation as soon as possible.
In the event my deposit is not returned to me within ________ (________) days, I will have no choice but to pursue legal recourse for its lawful return.
Payment can be made in the following manner:
________
282582 52 222 52882522 22 8222582 22 22 5888588 252 252225 2552525.
