Please accept this letter as my formal written Notice of Reservist Leave. I am being deployed on ________ in order to engage in a Canadian Forces operation inside of Canada.
This notice shall also be forwarded to the appropriate department to be documented and placed in my employee file.
As you are aware, this is a statutory leave of absence pursuant to the Canada Labour Code (R.S.C., 1985, c. L-2), under which I am entitled to up to 24 months of leave in any 60-month period. Based on my foregoing military engagement, I will require ________, with a possible variation. Should any changes arise, I will promptly notify you.
